Questa volta non scrivo né traduco nulla in particolare, ma voglio solo mostrare un'immagine tratta dal sito della BBC (scritto sotto l'immagine) e molto, molto evocativa. Si tratta del termine "suffragette" tradotto come "suffragetta" e con un significato storico importante in quanto fa riferimento a quelle donne che hanno lottato per il diritto al voto mettendo a rischio la propria vita; e come dice ancora l'immagine: Emmeline Pankhurst è una famosa suffragetta. E' stata una leader in quel movimento che 100 anni fa concesse il voto alle donne. Questo serve a far riflettere su quanto si è lottato e si lotta tuttora per i propri diritti e su quanto sia importante ottenerli.
Termine storico che può insegnarci e farci riflettere molto. A presto ^_^

Now I am neither writing nor translating nothing particular. What I am going to show is a simple but evocative image from the BBC website (see the link above the image) whose picture has the word "suffragette"; this has a very important historical meaning which lets us teach and reflect in many things. It generally refers to women who fought against their right to vote also risking their own life. By the way everything is explained in the phrase on the picture that says: "Emmeline Pankhurst is a famous suffragette. She was a leader of the movement that granted women's vote in Britain 100 years ago". This makes us reflect on the fact that we have fought and are still fighting for our rights connected to their value and importance.
A historical terms which teaches and makes us reflect a lot. Bye ^_^

No estoy escribiendo ni traduciendo nada de particular. Lo que voy a ilustrar es una imagen simple y evocadora del sitio de la BBC (ver la dirección de internet en la ilustración) donde está la palabra "suffragette" traducido como "sufragida" para designar las mujeres que lucharon por el derecho de voto arriesgando sus propias vidas. Como se dice en la frase de la imagen: "Emmeline Pankhurst es una sufragida celebre. Ella formó parte del movimiento que hace 100 años permitió el voto a las mujeres". Esa frase nos ayuda a reflexionar cuanto se ha luchado y todavía se lucha por sus propios derechos además de dar a ellos una importancia de gran valor.
Palabra histórica que nos enseña mucho y deja reflexionar. Hasta luego ^_^
